LA SIG

The Arc of Louisiana staff work with collaborators to educate teachers and other educational staff regarding inclusion of individuals with disabilities in the educational system.

LaSIG 2 has four goals that focus the projects professional development on achieving outcomes at the state, district, campus and individual levels:

• Improve systems of professional development and service delivery at the state level
• Improve systems of professional development, service delivery, and student outcomes at the district, campus, and individual level.

LaSIG 2 collaborates with 13 school districts that are located across the state.  LaSIG 2 School Districts are listed below:

-          Assumption School District

-          Caddo School District

-          Catahoula School District

-          DeSoto School District

-          East Baton Rouge School District

-          East Carroll School District

-          Jefferson School District

-          Livingston School District

-          Plaquemines School District

-          Rapides School District

-          Recovery School District

-          St. Charles School District

-          Vermilion School District
